Blog Definition

Tuesday 2 May 2006 @ 2:31 pm

Suddenly, blogs are everywhere you look. Where once the media were the opinion makers, now individual bloggers have the influence and reach to change the way your customers think about you. Why? Because bloggers are your customers, and they are talking about you behind your back.

The media and businesses - especially your competitors - are scrambling to find out what blogs are, and what impact they are having on the market. Are you being left behind? What do all these strange new words mean anyway? And why do IT people just spout even more jargon when you ask them?

I can help, by answering questions like:

• What is a blog?
• How does a blog work?
• What impact can bloggers have on my business?
• How should I interact with bloggers?
• What sort of PR materials should I send to bloggers?
• How can I use a blog internally?

I have designed a number of training sessions designed to answer these and other questions and in doing so, make blogging an indispensable part of your business plan. You can select from the following modules or I can tailor a session to fit your company’s specific needs.
